Tryti (andreleddet er vin 'grasmark, beitemark', fyrsteleddet usikkert) høyrer med blant dei eldste gardane i bygdi. Vin-gardane var rydda dei fyrste hundreåri e.Kr. På Tryti er det blant anna funne gravgods som tyder på at trytiser har vore og kjempa i Danmark fleire hundre år før vikingtidi. Fjellstølen til Trytis-gardane er Ygnesdal, medan heimestølane er delte mellom Titlastøl og Løyningshagen.

Tryti (not accurately interpreted) is among the oldest farms in Vik, first populated during the first centuries AD. At Tryti they have found, among other things, grave goods from a battle in Denmark several hundred years before the Viking age. The Tryti farms have got their summer farms in Ygnesdal, whereas the spring farms are splitted between Titlastøl and Løyningshagen.
